Turntables go beyond being popular nostalgia products, they remain the ultimate analog source for your music.
Unlike in the case of digital products, you become an intrinsic part of the set-up, upkeep, and match of your turntable. They are yours to decide.
A well set-up average turntable will always outperform a poorly set-up great turntable. With the possible exception of speaker positioning, very few, if any, digital products allow this personal touch.
Like anything with moving parts components, and that includes us, turntables, tonearms, and cartridges age. Just because it spins, it does not mean it is working well.
My advice is to clean your records and your stylus every time you use your turntable. Enjoy rediscovering your turntable and music while you stay home and stay safe.
